Anticipation
Welcome to Lifting the Spirit! Come share the journey of a Christian "in the pews". I start with posts about the UUCF Revival . From there, we'll travel forward where the Spirit leads.
Rocket Science Christianity By George W. Hillman, retired rocket scientist.
As a rocket scientist, I find that Christianity is the simplest part of daily life. All we need do is follow the simple instructions that Jesus left behind for us.
Love: We must love God, love our neighbors, and love our enemies.
Charity: We must feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and visit the widows and orphans.
Faith: We must do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.
Redemption: Because God loves us all, we need not worry about Hell or Heaven. God will redeem each and every one of us, in His own time and in His own way.
Well said, George. Putting this all into practice might be the hardest thing we've ever attempted, but it can bring us the greatest joy and peace we've ever know. Thanks for your offering.
